Jo and Darren - Australia A stay in Tuscany should not be without good food, good wine, and good friends. Tina and Manuela's cooking class offered just that: they welcomed us into their culture of food, their charming town, their wine-making friends and their family. We learned the essentials of Tuscan cooking, made pasta and tiramisu from scratch, and best of all we left with a taste of real Italian life. Francesca - New York Tina and Manuela's cooking class exceeded all
expectations and was by far one of the best cultural experiences of my
life. Set in the peaceful hills of Chianti, Manuela opens her beautiful
Tuscan home to you as if you were an long-time friend. My
husband and I enjoyed the entire morning and afternoon learning all
sorts of Italian cooking techniques, taste testing
fresh-from-the-garden ingredients, and feasting on our efforts together
in the dining room. Manuela and Tina are accommodating, kind,
thoughtful, creative, and charming. There is no better way to
experience authentic Italy. My
two daughters and I had an inspiring day of cooking. The desserst
making was the highlight. With Manuela's warm and encouraring manner we
learned how to make profiteroles, a family favourite of ours. Celia, Sara and Giulia - London (more coming as we have time to update the site....) |
